Where can I find out what chemicals are available?Send an email to chemicalsafety@ucf.edu and we can provide you with the login information to view our list of chemicals that are currently available as well as providing information about each chemical. Back to TopHow do I donate chemical(s) to ReChem?Chemical donations are greatly appreciated. Chemicals to be donated to ReChem must meet the following criteria
In order to maintain the quality and ensure conformance with the program's objectives and goals, chemicals accepted into the program must meet the following criteria:
Faculty and staff are responsible for the proper use and disposal of chemicals as indicated by UCF's Department of Environmental Health & Safety in accordance with Chemical and Lab Safety guidelines and requirements Be sure that your chemical(s) fits the criteria for acceptance into the redistribution program. If your chemical meets the criteria you can use our Hazardous Waste Pickup Form to submit a donation under the Waste Classifcation of "ReChem" and place your donation in your Satellite Accumulation Area (SAA), and Environmental Health & Safety will pick up your donation within 5 business days. In the subject line, type "ReChem Request." Be sure to include your name, contact number, lab information (building and room) and the tracking number(s) of the chemical(s) you are requesting.
