Policy: The University
of The Waste Minimization Program is designed to reduce, reuse, and recycle the hazardous waste generated on university property. It will reduce cost and avoid environmental exposure. The Waste Minimization Plan involves regulation and reduction of chemicals on campus to provide a safe environment for employees and faculty. The program is based on the legal requirements for generators of hazardous chemicals and seeks to be cost effective, as well as, environmentally friendly.
